BrainBugz Workarounds?

I need to create a flock of birds and came across BrainBugz. I’m pretty sure it’ll do the job once I get it working, but there are some issues that I came across when following the Quick Tutorial that I don’t know how to fix:

1.) In the bugsFlocking combineDesire, when I set the Combine Mode to “Priority”, they are all set to 1. They should be prioritized from 3, 2, or 1. The sim still works, but I’'m not sure what kind of effect this has.

2.) When I select the bug particles, switch to Component Select, and open up the Component Editor the Velocity attributes do not show up while the Position and Mass attributes are there. When I do Layout > Show All Columns, the Velocity attributes show up before disappearing in an instant. My workarounds right now for this are either just to set an expression to 1 in the particle’s velocity attribute or to just add a uniform field to the particles.

3.) In bugsPathFollowFlocking combineDesire, when I set the Combine Mode to “Weights”, I am unable to select or edit the weights values in the table.

Im going to look over the Mel as best I can but ill try to get a pro coder to look it, if the current compiler know a work around or the Mel fix that woulds be great. I have created tons shots with this amazing plugin and I can’t wait to see it restored to its optimal functionality.
