BPR and Document Exporting

#1

This might have an obvious solution but I’ve scoured the forums and Youtube tuts and have found nothing. I want to set my export resolution for both Document and BPR Render files but I can’t find any kind of window or dialogue that allows this. Everything exports at a low 1033x906. Its as though its just taking a screen grab of the workspace window and not exporting an actual file. I would like to export these at a high resolution so they can be edited in Photoshop but I have no idea how this is done as there doesn’t seem to be any “file resolution” dialogue windows for this. I thought maybe this could be set vie Document>Width/Height settings but these seem to have nothing to do with actual export files. What am I missing here?

Please help, thanks

It’s getting late so I will just link to the page with instructions:

Thanks for the link, I read through the documentation earlier but must have missed this part “ZBrush does not have a way to specify the resolution of an image” either that or my brain refused to except it.

I’m a noob when it comes to Zbrush Rendering so the thought of a 3D package (or any imaging software for that matter) not having a way to set image resolution is completely foreign to me.

Thanks for the help!

Whereas Zbrush doesn’t have a way to set resolution of your output as such, the render will export at the size of your document. What you can do, then, is set your document size to the output size you’re after, and scale your view down to fit the screen.
