Bournemouth University or Media Design School?

Hi everyone. Currently I am looking forward to study Animation and vfx. There are two options which I have shortlisted. Bournemouth University and Media Design School Auckland. I am pretty confuse as I have heard a lot about Bournemouth University on forums but I came to know Media Design School was ranked at number 3 by cgstudentawards and also their demo reel is pretty good. But I want to know which has better job options and which will be better overall.
Also another question which I wanted to ask is that should i go for 3 year bachelor program or a 1 year degree? Because schools like Think Tank Training center, vanarts, vancouver film school looks pretty promising!
