If you have an iPad, this is a nice start to modeling for facial articulation and movement.

For ZBrush, both of Scott Spencer’s books are amazing. I haven’t actually read it, but Digital Modelling by William Vaugan is well reviewed, and I know the authors other books are clear and easy to follow.

Most books on modelling are software specific. They’re more useful that way because sometimes the various programs handle things in different ways, and even have shortcuts to get you where you want.
