Body paint not dispalying object in Max

Can anyone please help,

I downloaded and installed body paint release 12 and successfully installed it. It works fine when I ‘send object from Max’ but the object does not display correctly in BD instead it shows a stop sign and the screen is blank. BD is not hanging as it allows me to click icons but my model wont display so I cannot paint.

Has any one experienced this before? please help.
