#1

This is really cool:
This german site has a neat plug-in to import blender fluids into Lightwave.

Whats crazy is that Blender, a free app, can mimic Day After Tomorrow fluid effects

Someone need to translate that german page asap,
Has anyone got blender to mimic lw keys and menus?

Hello, just wanted to let you know that when I switched from Lightwave to Blender I asked the same question and someone wrote this guide. You can find it here:
http://www.blendernation.com/2006/10/13/blender-welcomes-lightwave-users/

Hope this helps.

PS: not trying to lure someone from Lightwave to blender, just offering an additional tool

No problems!

Blender is a neat software with a lot of features and this exporter to LW makes it even more interresting to actually learn and use.

very cool stuff. I’m glad to see we at least have an option for fluids stuff.

… but be aware, if you try running the new VueXtream7 in LW , LW Crashes instantly after loading vue-engine. so unsinstall the blender loader plugin… then it should work…
