Blender 2.54 crashing

In using the newest release to try some high-end compositing, I find that after being open for about 10-15 minutes, it crashes as I’m doing normal things (adding nodes, adjusting parameters…).

I’m doing the same project in 2.53, haven’t had a crash yet.

Anyone else having issues with the newest beta release?

I’m on Windows 7, 4G of RAM.

look into the console window when blender crashes, what does it say ?

I’ve also experienced issues with 2.54 especially with the file browser. However, this forum won’t provide the kind of feedback you’re looking for.
