Blender 2.53 to UDK

#1

I realized yesterday that there were no good tutorials on how to export static meshes from blender 2.53 to UDK. So I decided to make one for the community!
Give me your honest feedback! link

I can create more of these tutorials on how to create an amazing game using completely free software but I am not sure there is a market for it. So if you enjoyed this then send me a message or leave a comment. If there are enough people then I would love to make more!

Just give me your thoughts!
Thank you for reading and I hope I was able to help you!

Hi Ryan,
I’m having issues downloading the AES exporter script. When I follow the link to the download, I hit Download, Google warns me that it can’t scan the file for viruses (which doesn’t surprise me  ) and gives me the option to download anyway. Hitting “Download anyway” just reloads the page.

isn’t there an udk mesh export/import scripts bundled with blender under ‘user preferences > AddOn’s’? :surprised

edit: ah I see, imprter/exporter ‘only’ for animated meshes,
don’t see why it couldn’t work for static meshes though?
