Blend That Film - Episode 1 - Cloning

#1

Hi Everyone

I was hoping you could all take a look at my new Blender based youtube show in which I look at using blender for low budget film making.

I would really appreciate feedback and constructive critisism.

Everything is produced entirely in Blender.

Cheers

I thought it was a good tutorial, I really like the presentation as if it were a “how-to” TV show vs. a screen-shot tutorial (which are always helpful, too–so this is a boost above those). The very faint music in the background is a nice addition that, while it may not be obvious or noticeable, adds to the scene. I can’t wait to see more of this style presentation in your future videos.

My only critique would be the quality of vocal recording while your are facing the camera. It has a home-made sitting-in-a-small-room kind of sound. However, that is my only critique. You did well! Keep up the good work!

VERY nicely done!

Moving from LW to Blender (and/or XSI) these kinds of “tutorials” should help a great deal.

Can’t wait to see many more episodes.

Oh, and thanks for the effort!

Yeah I know, it’s probably because I am sitting in a small room at home. I record the audio seperately using my shotgun mic and I’m still getting used to it. I tried to beef it up in Audition but obviously not enough, I’ll keep tinkering for future episodes.

Thanks for everyones comments, I really appreciate it.
