Blend Shape question

Hello again, i created 46 separate facial blend shapes in mudbox. i tried to send the file to maya and export layers as saved blend shapes to the mesh., but i only get 29 of the blends attached to my mesh before i run out of ram. so now im doing it manually.

here is my question is it possible to transfer blend shapes from a hi res model to a low res model

i currently have my low res model rigged and weighted before i made my blend shapes

I’m not sure how you sculpted the poses in mudbox but you should’ve stayed on the same level of topology as your base mesh (smoothness at 0)

Maybe you can still export the poses from mudbox if you decrease the smooth of each layer.
I’ve had files with a lot more with 29 blendshapes that ram without noticeable lag.

maya crashes on me and i dont know to decrease my mesh in mudbox with my sculpt layers still usable
