Black shadow on picture: how to eliminate

Hi!
This is the picture of a wood panel:

I’ve to use it in a 3d software for rendering.
The photographer who took the picture didn’t take it avoiding Vignetting and Shadow, so now I’ve to eliminate in photoshop.

Using the Lens Effect filter I’ve eliminated the Vignetting effect on it, but there is also a dark shadow on the top right corner.

How can I flat the image eliminating that black gradient?
I’d like the most precise and efficient way.

Try highpass.

You can also try Image>Adjustments>Highlight & Shadow and use the sliders to only bring up the shadow part of your image.
