black hole/toilet bowl effect

I need to create a black hole effects where a bunch of objects get sucked into it. Specifically a bunch of letters. Any ideas on how to do this other than to key frame each letter?

A simple expression could do that… You know, create a circular motion, animate its radius so it becomes a spiral, add some wiggle for randomization. 3D or 2D?

I agree - there are a few expressions that will accomplish what you want/need. Try these links and look for “follow”

With the follow expression you can always have the followers deviate a little bit by messing with the numbers or even have more than one leader.
