Bird Rig WIP

I have been rigging this bird for a while now and i could really use some critiquing. I should say that i did not make the model. And if anyone would like the actual Maya file to try out please let me know.

I don’t know a lot about rigging, but I think that the moving feathers in the animation were a nice touch. Would this work in Maya 2010? I wouldn’t mind trying it out.

…I mean it’s 21st century.

Wow, Looks great, I’ve been trying to learn how to rig a bird myself but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of information around on the subject. Did you reference any books or tutorials when you made the rig?

Also would you consider uploading the bird, it would be really cool to take a look at how it works.

Any updates? I really want to see a finished or at least semi-finished product and the movements
