BioWare Austin is looking for Contract [color=windowtext]Flash Developer for approximately 6 months that will primarily be responsible for the implementation of a game user interface. Reporting to the Project Art Director, the position would also require the creation of splash screens and some documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with and coordinate numerous requests from our game designers, programmers, and quality assurance personnel. This position will also be responsible for the implementation of the user interface as well as technical input on the structuring of it for best performance. The individual should also have a sophisticated sense of design to create functional, cutting edge graphics. The successful individual will take opportunities to conduct research, learn from other game interfaces, and continuously seek improvements in how they approach Graphical User Interface Design.[/color]
Qualifications:
Education and Experience

[li]BFA in Visual communications or graphic design is required. (Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.) [/li][li]Expertise with Flash, especially with interactive applications. Including a strong knowledge of ActionScript and performance optimization.[/li][li]Competence and experience Adobe Photoshop is an asset. [/li][li]Experience with 3D programs desirable but not required. [/li][/ul]Skills / Abilities / Knowledge / Personal Suitability:
