BINDING after rigging issue [heat map]

I am using auto rig [the setup machine] for my rigging assignment, i tried using their autorig but it was too much work so i decided to use maya heat map binding. I rig my character, a human first using autorig, but now I am having issue to bind using heat map.

the joints are not bind to the model, if you move the joint, example hand, only the joint move, not the model+joint. And summore, I cant move the joints, its like its locked.

Anyway to solve this? I am running out of time and ideas.

by heat map i’m assuming you mean interactive binding which uses capsules and a color ramp to show influence.

also i don’t really understand what’s the problem.do you bind the skeleton to the mesh but afterwards when you try to move the joints,only the joints can move but not the mesh?
do you bind and afterwards you can’t move the joints?
