Bind skeleton problem

Hey Guys!
I’m new at this forum and im working on my first character in Autodesk maya 2011.

When i smooth bind my skeleton to the mesh, it works fine and the mesh is blending with the rig. But when i save my scene, close it and then open it, the mesh is not blending anymore.

This happens evertime and i dont know what to do…

Hmm, havef you try to clean the history and transformation on your geometry before you bind it?
Edit > Delete by type > History

Does it happen on any machine, or just yours?
If you do something like add in a sphere afterwards, is there sphere still there when you open it back up? Does the skin still have the skin history on it when you open it back up?
