It doesn’t make much sense to show both a clear, mirror-like reflection of the man in the boat, and then also a very clear underwater scene too. You have to focus on just one, because we can’t realistically see both that clearly. I suggest you get rid of the reflection and make it clearly a scene divided as above water and underwater.

Haha, wonderful! Love this one. Very estetic an playful. Nice color palette. This will be a BIG surprise for the little man, hope he’ll make it :slight_smile:

Hi, Thank you for the comments. I went ahead and worked on it a little more. I’ll look into the reflection thing. Honestly I know it’s not realistic. I just liked the way it looked. Not logically, but I think in terms of composition, the shapes created by doubling the image are interesting and I feel the enclose the man in a way that highlights him better. I’ll do both versions and decide.

Meanwhile here’s some progress.

I feel it’s a bit too dark. What do you think? Also, maybe a bit too busy now?

Nice! You are improving. The image is even better. I like that you have worked with light and shadow both over and under water. That makes the cave looks deeper. It’s great that you have worked with the fish and added more details on the reef, it gives a sharper image. The color palette is great. Keep it up!
