Bezier Curve and Extrude

Hello, I am trying to create this Chaise. I created the layout of the chaise with the Bezier Curve Tool.
Added all the necessary points where its supposed to be, got it all layed out as I needed, but now i cant figure out how am I supposed to extrude it, so I can make a solid mesh out of it.

Did I go about it the wrong way?

How do I extrude the Curved Line on the Z Axis?

Or did i start doing the mesh the wrong way?

In the Duplicate tab there’s the Curve Extrude tool and then try the thicken tool in the Basic/Add Geometry tab.
