Im rigging a realistic human which aim to be as realistic as possible.
besides painting weight properly. joint placement affects a lot
Im looking for a legitimate guide for the precious placement of joints
Some people sugguest placing bones following human anatamy. (but that might e.g. stretch the back when bend back, and compress the stomach when bend forward)
some sugguest place at center e.g. for spine instead of towards the back. (that might preserve better volume but the length of body might be incorrect)
these applies to all over the body.
I know skin weighting can never achieve what real muscle can. but at least i want an optimal setup to start. and then do corrective pose base deformation. (muscle system is quite complicated for me to invest time at the moment)
