Hey guys,
I am learning XSI coming over from Maya and have ran into some bumps when it comes to lighting/shadows.
Ok in Maya when i use a directional light (infinite light) and use Raytraced shadows i have control of the shadow softness through ‘light radius’. I can not understand how to control this in XSI using Raytraced shadows.
The only ways i have been able to get soft shadows are through using depthmap, and using an area light.
Is there anyways to control the shadow softness without using depth map shadows or an area light?
