Greetings you talented people!

I’m working on a short film called ‘Lord Vladder’ (working title) and it’s my first 3D project.

The project is evolving nicely and I’ve been lucky enough to have found some people who liked the idea and have decided to chip in with their own skills.

The project feels big and I thought it’d be a good idea to extend the invitation to this marvelous community.

SYNOPSIS:[i]
"Beyond the outskirts of the great land of Ovendoore lays Lord Vladder’s ominous lair where he has lived since he was made to resign from his job as the King’s advisor and sentenced to live in exile by King Bedward himself after the court found him guilty of enchanting the princess in an attempt to win her heart and thus become heir to the throne. The ordered that the princess be locked in one of the castle’s towers until they find a cure for her terrible curse.

After 20 years in exile Lord Vladder is preparing to strike back with a plan more cunning and evil than ever. It’s only up the the princess appointed royal guards, Sir Askalot ‘The Doubtful’ and Sir Plentymoore to stop him."[/i]

At this stage I’m after concept sketches or paintings, but if there’s any C4D good modeler it’d be great help. It takes me ages to rig jus one character. I am an animator and the process feels too techie for me, hence I’m so slow.

If anyone is interested I can give you a descriptive list of scenes, so you can picture it yourselves and paint it as you visualize it. Apart from the characters I’d like to give as little information possible to give you all the creative room possible.

I love this process as I’ve receiver some from a couple of friends and their visions are so distant from what I had in my head is wonderful and refreshing.

Whoever participates of course would get creadited and if possible mentiond on my Oscar’s speech :wink:

Man I really like the aesthetics of your project…

Id like to join you but Im not a 3D modeler yet (just started learning)
But Im a music composer (Im at the university of argentina now, studying musical composition), nevertheless it seems you already have a musician.

So any way… I write plays too, so maybe I can help you in some way…

There is one musician who’s been experimenting with some sounds for the project but is nothing definitive yet so if you want to give it a try it’d be great.

Music wise this is what’s happening: There’s a possibility of an English band to write a theme tune for it, but that’s still to be decided if they like the trailer and the feel of it so I will know that in a month or so when the first trailer is ready.

Meanwhile Chris Harrington has been toying around with sounds and coming up with short pieces with different moods that may or may not be used. It’s still early stages.

However when we finally have a chosen theme, we’d need different moods for it… suspence, happy, triumphant, evil, casual (idle)… so you’re welcome to give it a try with some short pieces, who knows! we might fall in love with it and use it as the lead or just fit it in somewhere.

I’m not used to brief musicians so I only have two words: medieval and playful.
it may be tinted slightly with celtic sounds as I personally find them more interesting than medieval.
