beams for text

Hi,

i would like to create light beams coming out of a text logo like the Blizzard logo(see JPG Attached) with combustion.
anybody knows of a good way to do this or can direct me to a tutorial of how to do that?

Hi there,

you might want to look at the trapcode “shine” plugin.

it’s $99

I haven’t used it as I have the Genarts sapphire plugins which has its own set of light effects.

In fact you could try out the sapphire plugins as they do a 2 or 3 week fully useable demo.
