Batman film needs help in cgi

#1

Hi

as you can tell I’m new on these boards. I’m still in high school but its getting near to that time where I’m leaving High school and I’m starting to build my portfolio. I really want to start this project up (I have parts of the suit and starting to cast soon). The script is almost done and I really want to get a cgi team together to start building some scenes. I do not have alot of money to pay for the cgi but, I’m just wish a few will be willing to help me. If you would like to help me out on the project please E-mail me at marvelcomics2356@aol.com or PM me.If you have any questions please insert them and I would be glad to answer them. Also for subject please put Batman Film.

Thank you for looking at this thread and have a great day

Mike

Ps
the running time of the whole film will be 7 mins tops.

Alright I’m wating for this confirmation email so i can post pics, While that is happening I’ll tell you what this is film will be and what we got

Story: Well this will take place during Batman’s first year. The movie starts out with Batman suiting up in the cave, Then he goes off in the batmobile. A woman is getting mugged and then batman stops the thug, then I end the film with a nice final shot.

What we have for the film

We are renting all the equitment, So i’ll try and rent the best stuff

Batman’s cowl
Boots
Batarangs
body suit
and we are going to build one small cave wall for the suit up scene.

Cg scenes: I’m looking to do a batmobile scene, gotham city shot, and a final shot were batman is on a gargoyle Classic pose

What is the time frame for CG completion?

Have you broken down or storyboarded the CG shots, something to give some idea of the complexity and length.

Will there be any CG/Live action compositing?

#14

I will post up the cg shot scenes later today (rewrites are being done) I’m hiring a story board artist to story board and we will have boards sometime in the following week. No there will be no compositing. I’m actually trying to stay away from that

Here Since I basically nailed out the cgi scenes ill basically sum it up.

Batmobile scene- The batmobile starts off in the cave, it thenwould blast off into the tunnel is the proposed in and out of the cave. then i would go through the camo wall and through the woods. The camera would fallow the car through the woods though it would pan to the right and we would get a view of GOTHAM CITY

Final shot- the classic moving along the city scape and reaching a really breath taking building
with Batman looking over the city on a gargoyle. The cape blows in the wind and the he would just glid off the building.

Thats basically all that needs to be done and the time frame for doing this could be 4 or 5 months. We could nail out details and such.

I’m hoping there will be a website up soon…I talk to Dieanotherday on AIM every now and again and he told me he wanted to get some kind of teaser ready for the site first. On my end, I have three different tracks worked out that can be fleshed out/trimmed/refined as necessary so I think the music is covered (if we’re still only dealing with 5-6 minutes). Batman goth-y type pieces are fun to work with!
