Hi guys, I am new to UVW mapping in 3D Max 2012 and am having some problems with various faces that are throwing me off. For some reason or another, as you can see here, the mapping gizmo defaults to a weird angle for some faces, like this one. This is complicating things when it comes to my unwrap as the face is always defaulting to an angle in the UVW editor.
Anyone know of a way I can correct the orientation of the gizmo? I tried reset xform etc but this continues to occur,
