Baking objects to texture


Hi Guys,

Still getting used to C4D, I’m trying to migrate from Modo so I’m facing some baking issues.

Can we bake modeled geometry to textures? For instance, having a plane with cloned drops over it.

Bake material tag only allow us to point to a single object, not even can we use subsurface sundivision?

Am I having the wrong approach?



Try putting the cloner under a Connect object and point to the connect object not the cloner.

I can’t say for sure if this’ll work but as a new user to c4d get used to putting objects into a connect object if things don’t work as documented. The connect object has magic powers…
