Bake rigid body keyframes

I’m toying around with the Blender Rigid Body system (in Game Engine), and I’ve encountered a problem.

I’ve got a scen with some rigid body blocks, and a ball flying through those rocks. The ball is key frame animated and then made to move in BGE through an actuator in the Logic editor.

Now, I want to record the animation, so that all keyframes are baked. But when I do that, the ball doesn’t move. My guess is that it’s because I’m trying to overwrite the keyframes of the object. Surely there must be someway to bake an animation with keyframed objects in it?

You can lock the animation in the graph editor to prevent keyframes being overwritten. Use the padlock icon for the animated channels
