Backdrop in 202

#1

Hi, Can anyone tell me what’s the problem.
I want to work in Model Single View with 2 ref images attached with Front & Side, as I did in 101. But still I can’t do this in a new version. Backdrop is always showing only the one image in all views?!

I’ve been having the same problem. A lot of unnecessary things were changed and it’s kind of hard to find good footing again.

Drop them in in quad view then expand to perspective view and use that as your single view.

You also have the ability to use Backdrop Items now in the Item List

I just went through the first part of the C9 tut with 202, and the backdrops are a bit different than I remember from 102 (just getting back into modo after a break).

You create a new “Backdrop Object” for each backdrop, and in the properties of the object next to the Image Browse function you’ll find a list of views - Top, Right… etc. Set the proper view for each of your backdrops and you should see the correct ones in each view. Plus you can turn the display of each object on/off individually. Also suggested in the tut (good idea) is to shift-select all the objects and (right-click) Add to Group, which puts them into a folder.

Hope this helps.
