Cheesy Bar is a marvel!!! Man you have done a cute perfect set!! cant wait to see it dressed of textures!

Cori: Nice to meet you, too. The street will be “real”. I think of it as a sidewalk of an abandoned street.

Joel, Michael, Imkan, Andrew, Mark, Marley, Azeem, Fabio: Thank you very much. I really appreciate that you like my entry.

Just a small update. Time is hard to find theses days.

Just beautiful. The street furniture really makes it. I love those bottle tops for plates. I wonder if the bottle tops are big enough though. Maybe it’s just me but they seem a bit small alongside the fork and other items. However if you think they are the right size then I will happily accept your word. The use of broken crockery for seats is pure genius

#27

Glorious little architects. What are the saloon style doors composed off? They almost seem like spiral bound notebook paper. Incredible creations.

#28

Hey Torsten,

Simply awesome model !! Love all the great details on it, cool!! The band aid straps are a superb touch… The pen and the fork like columns!! fantasic!. Love this model!

Incredible work and looking forward for more updates. Cheers!!

I love this idea you have. It’s very appealing and the modeling looks well done. I’m looking forward to seeing your other environmental pieces and characters as well. How do you plan on shading and lighting it? I could see it going in any direction and still be pleasing. Good luck !

#30

Wow, nice work so far! I am loving the little mouse cantina. Superb.

#31

Fantastic models, good work!

Mark: You are absolutely right about the scale of the bottle-tops. I have scaled them up. Thank you for the hint.

Cori: Thanks man. The saloon style doors are supposed to be a drip mat ripped in two parts. It may become more clear once they are textured (hopefully).

Fernando: Thank you very much.

Zachary: My first idea was to make it as realistic as possible. But I don’t think I will be able to do the mice with real fur (would kill my machine I think). So it will be a mix between realism and cartoony. Thanks.

Jimmy, Jose: Thanks a lot.

I just recognized that you won’t get the full res picture when clicking on it. Only the medium sized image pops up. But when you replace “medium” with “large” in the URL of the pic you’ll get the full-res version.

This is great! The concept and story really work well together. I look forward to seeing how you translate them into reality.

#37

Hiho Torsten!

As usual: nice concept and a great start! Really love all the details you put in your props, they all make sense!

To frontpage … and BEYOND!!!

Wil, Fernando, David, David: Thank you very much.

Here is a very early model of the mouse. Trying to find the right shape.

Hey Torsten,

Nice start on the mouse  Like the big chest, really cool for a mouse hero

Cool work. Cheers!!

Fernado: Thanks a lot. He has to do a lot exercise to sway the heavy blade with style.

Here’s another WIP of the mouse. Still a lot of tweaking necessary.
