Work in progress

#5

Something bad happened with previous image… Sorry about this mess…

#6

at first I could not see it was a train is a little confusing, maybe the smoke!
and my English too, sorry!

#7

Yeah. I might be misreading this too. At first I saw a large mouth and head of a partially dematerialized creature that’s sucking a train into its maw. What’s the story behind this??

The eerie colors and accent of oranges and reds work nicely together.

Thanks for comments.
Story: The ghost train with evil conductor ride from city to city and destroy them. Only mysterious giant can stand against them…
I think, next update will be on Wednesday. Cheers:)

I like your initial WIP, looks nice. Very cool reflections and highlights everywhere, gives it a lot of atmosphere already!

#10

Hey Ravirr, it has the light and atmosphere in it so far…however the I wonder is it perspective or angel problem that the train has. Its a little funny there…the color wise can be more stronger in a sense of which part would you like to focus and make other parts less detail. Just a two cent from me. Go on and continue

#11

Thanks for suggestions… Soon I’ll try to use them;)

#12

Rendering;) Top is empty because I want put title there.
Cheers

#13

#15

It’s time to think about top of the image… Waiting for comments and crits;)
Cheers

This is an intriguing image. Keep going.

#17

Thanks;) Tomorrow will be next update;)

nice start mate, if I can suggest one thing I think when you diversify the pallete, effect will be much better. You would put more blue on the sky and darken down part of the picture-especially these brightnesses between the buildings. Play more with colours  Furthermore you can improve air perspective effect by desaturating that sharp fire in the background. Waiting for more, cheers!

#19

Nice. Reminds me a little bit of “Ghost rider” theme. A train from hell…

Cool work. I like the colors, lighting and especially like the contrast of the fire against a dark, rainy night.

One suggestion might be to rotate the first train car a bit so it appears to swoop in more…and maybe add more intense fire “tracks” as it is closer to camera might set off the train more… But it looks cool.
