Cool image, but, hmmmm, did you read the rules?

Check this out:
http://features.cgsociety.org/challenge/b-movie/instructions.php

This challenge will be a WIP (Work in Progress) Challenge to ensure everyone can learn from each other and offer feedback and critiques. Each challenger or team is required to submit Work In Progress (WIP) images.

  1. Enter the Challenge by registering yourself as a CGTalk or CGSociety member.
  2. Submit your Work In Progress on a regular basis.
  3. Participate in the Community by critiquing other challenger’s works in the respective forums.
  4. Submit your final entry before the close of the challenge (to avoid the last-minute rush - get your entry in early).
  5. All winners are required to be available to write ‘making of’ articles accompanied with high-resolution Work In Progress stills, to be eligible for prizes.

For this image I drew stylistic reference from both Mucha and Frazetta. As for the subject matter; I referenced John Tenniel’s Alice in Wonderland illustrations.

Despite the rules it is a very cool image, and good tec.! but there is some details like shadows missing in my opinion to make it evan better!

very nice piece!
maybe more horrible elements need to be added.

i mostly like the girl, she is so beautiful and owns a perfect figure!

maybe its the crude composition, so the light effect seems unnatural.
if you adjust the light effect, it may become a perfect piece!

you deffintely have the different styles there. It’s looking great.

Just a suggestion:D
You have too many bright spots. Maybe dimming down some of them and focus the bright spots on the center of attention.

Either way Nicely done.
