The Brain from Planet Auros…I was gonnna try and do “The Claw” but this is my first entry and I’m just getting back into painting, this should be fun.

Slowly blocking in…I’ll play with her arm a bit more…also just worrying about the girl and the brain for now, will worry about the background later

I might have to change my canvas…not sure if wider would be better…I could make the brain bigger…I think that’s what is bothering me, even though he’s behind her I think he’s too small

I might still need to mess w/composition as I move forward…this was always my weakest area. I’m not too concerned at all with color at the moment…guess I really could have kept this monochromatic/b&w to start…

I thought it would be easy just kinda mimicking the design from the movie, but it’s just a piece of mass floating around…so now I’m going out on a limb and trying a tight “leash” around the brain squeezing it, pushing it “out” at both ends…don’t know if I can make that come across visually…it’s leading to a bunch of other ideas that may be too ambitious…

Had an issue w/color settings in Painter…was not getting true black…work has been beckoning…it’s gonna be close…i’ve got alot to do…comments always welcome

Wow getting ready to move to California from the east coast…I hope I get this done…I started a little late…but I’ve got a week left…positive attitude :slight_smile:
