Still loads to add and fix.

Working on the composition of the main (hero character)flying dragons attacking the human. Using transpose to pose the dragons… I guess the composition is getting there. They look quite vicious (o_o)

Still need to add more creatures so it resembles a swarm…

Title pretty much done… still needs some minor fixes. Added some text just to see how it looks.

THinking about adding a terrain, moon, clouds, stars to the background. It will depend how they will affect the overall image.

Back to transposing…

Still working on transposing the winged figures and using instances. Making sure the composition looks right. Added the moon and terrain, see how it affects composition.

Lighting the scene, starting with the key flying dragon.

Started the serious comp of elements together. Added terrain and other stuff I couldn’t render together in ZBrush (need hardware update). Working on colour tweaking, and painting of fog and blood stains.

I made the center dragon (underneath the main one) a bit brighter so it standsout a bit more. I think it catches the eye of the viewer as is directly looking back. It kinda helps the composition, otherwise they will be a bunch of grey creatures all muddled up (swarm problem…!!)

Need to work on the title…

Background story:

Shanette was the only daughter they had.

They were the perfect parents on this perfect X-Mass, where Shanette received her perfect X-Mass gift.

She always wanted an iguana. It was a strange creature… with tiny bumps sticking out from its shoulder blades.

“Maybe is a baby dragon, and those bumps are its wings” she thought.

The iguana bite her in the finger.

She didn’t know at that moment how right she was…

My interpretation of a B-Movie poster.
Had this story in mind about evil pets that became a swarm
and attacked people (a bit like Gremlins but with flying reptiles).
