I like the weapon design. It looks cool.
Just a suggestion, you’re detailing the main guy alot -he’s coming along pretty well, but the rest of the picture is kinda messy still. You might want to smooth out the composition and lighting before you spend too much time with details -A good pass just to block in the lighting/reflections/shadows/and highlights and smooth it all out a little -make it a bit neater.
I love the colors and the concept, how were you planning to present the piece? Scree shot? Poster maybe?

Latest update, inspired by some of the most dangerous fish in the world, to match with their personality. The barracuda, the snakehead fish and the scorpion fish.

After the events of the destruction of Atlantis. The remnants of that beloved city had to adapt and evolve. Binding themselfs with the local sea creatures DNA, they couldn’t just abandon all their culture and technology. Only recently, after thousands of years they reveal themselfs. Claiming the wolrd that was once theirs. Acusing all humanity for destroying the world, consuming all the natural resources, leaving toxines as waste.
well done on finishing the image, its terrific. You have really brought it all together in a coherent fashion. awesome designs for the characters i particularly like the conept of squid harnessing :).
