I plan to create some weird prehistoric creature crawling out of the deep caves and attacking the villagers. Started on my first concept.

Here is my final concept I plan to stick to.
It’s the invation of the killer plants - mutated from the biopharmaceutical plant factory.
Infected victim will turn into plant zombie.

Started on the background. filled in general shape of the buildings and the giant green house dome.

In the foreground, add a helpless lady about to be devoured by the carnivorous plant.

Decided to switch to the portrait layout to better emphasize subjects. Also changing the background and the story -Roses from the dead butchering teenage flower pickers.

Sketching out the carnivorous plant monster - attracting the prey with its rose like tentacle and aroma. Victims are then paralyzed with mists of poisonous gas, then slowly digested in the deep pouch sack.

Painted the foreground with strange rose buds covering the corpse. The thick grass undergrowth are sprayed on ZSpheres models in Zbrush.

Deep in the forest, fields of bloody roses grown from dead bodies in the unmarked mass graves of those wrongfully slain. Disembodied angry souls takes roots in the damp earth,
trapped in endless vortex gave birth to the gigantic Hellish flower. The deadly and cursed carnivorous plants will butcher any living things trampling on its veins, and disrespectfully touches its pedals of pain. This time, victims will be group of teenage campers in heat, to suffer death pair by pair.
