B-Movie Entry: Kimmo Ala-Ojala
hey - this looks really interesting!
The creatures are really strange - nice and pretty unique. Perhaps the camera angle is a bit to straight on to create the right drama. I think lowering it so it looks up at the invaders could be something to try.
This is a great image and I like it a lot, the only thing missing I thinks is some people or vehicles.
I’ ve forgot to say I do like it more the previous image with the fog it gives more deep in to it !
True ‘whitemagus’, fog creates a nice depth feeling there. I might put it back in some point. Now Ive rebuilded the beings heads giving them a feaw more iterations so they are more detailed.
And added feaw humans there (if you can see). I have to add quite meny of them because they are so small…
Here is a detail shot of these (even more) falling humans… the beigns seem to throw them down to the ground.
shot is without any dof, fog or color corrections.
glad that I didnt post the final image yet, because I noticed that horizontal fog is on the foreground too as it should be only in the background… have to fix that. If I then could post the final image. damn, always finding some bugs in it

They are coming and taking over our cities, and they are huge…
This is the story basically and the scene is like a miniature set from a cheap scifi movie.
you are right I totaly missed the humans, It is a pity because you should had use a point of view that we could see them on the foreground.
Still is one of my fav’s!
thanks… I just didnt have the time to bring more humans to the front, so the main view is in the beings.

Had to fix some things in the Final image. Dof was a bit off and the purple coloring was way too strong. So I would like this to be the actual Final Image.
