John: He’s not taking @#!?, from anyone, any longer.
No painting program so my concept is a little sketchy.
First timer, so please be brutal. Not going to learn otherwise.
Trying to get the basic geometry down before I start to destroy the left side. Also working on color and lighting.
Still trying to figure out how the lights will work with this shot. Trying to go for a split look. Left side will be darker and more hellish looking than the right.
Nice Idea!
Are you going to make a light source in the bowl- evil creepy light! I would suggest more perspective- maybe slightly exaggerated - to create more drama!
Also- the toilet paper roll is in line with the back wall/corner- i find it to effect the depth of the image.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
I really like the concept. I am really interested to see what will be in the foreground and what will make it stand out from the others.
The composition is awesome. Since your working on your lighting i would lighten up the right corner next to the toilet, but not by much so you can keep the the creepy feel of your poster.
Don’t be afraid to go crazy with the poly count…and maybe make some organic looking lumps on the toilet paper. Keep it up!
The shadow on the toilet could use some fixing as it seems to run bumpily along the rim. The toilet paper could use a few more polys so that it is nice and smooth all the way around. Also, is the knotch in the trash bin supposed to be there or is it an accident?
There are still some elements that I need to add. Like the hand and some textures. Still working on the light. I like the suggestion about adding a light inside the toilet. Thanks. Will try to keep this as updated as possible.
This is a great idea lol
Light inside the toilet is a great idea too…
Maybe adding other elements in the bathroom can help tell the story, like who uses it, or the type of abuse John takes, etc…
