I managed to do some sketches, laying down some ideas. my theme is going to be Asian Horror B Movies. this sketch is just to see the feel of the piece but for sure all is going to change

i did some more sketches, still not sure how my theme is going to develop. the rat girl was the first thing i did, was an idea of a greater monster who kills and feeds on human flesh in a series of films that end up by killing the monster, leading to the 13th movie where some kind of a mutant kid, a mixture between the monster and human gene, start the killing again.
well yesterday i did this sketch for the poster, i thought of going for more sci-fi for this story, and take the story to a space colony where some kind of a curse start hunting people. somehow the rat girl made it to space.

Hey brother. I really enjoyed your work. You’re perfectly conveying the Asian b movie spirit . It’s really frightening. Keep it up.

It’s looking nice! The painting style really screams b-movie to me! One thing that I think you’ve lost in going from your sketches to the render is the idea that the center figure’s feet are hanging down. I looked at it and was wondering what she was standing on, and thinking to myself that it would make more sense if her feet were dangling… and then scrolled down to see that that was exactly what you’d drawn and intended! In your earlier sketch they weren’t overlapping so much, and so their silhouettes were much more clear, but maybe rounding the toe area might help as well. But that’s a small detail - overall, nice work. Good luck!

Sequel to Funayurei 9: Pink Shadows, the movie picks up the story after the destruction of the spirit and the survival of Azami. After waking up from a coma, Azami discovers that the spaceship she managed to escape to is not just a space transport, but a cloning lab where scientists managed to clone a dead spirit.
