Looks promissing . I just wondering if the monster shouldn’t have some cheap b-class movie gadgets working for his costume - like fish net , lightbulbs instead of eyes , rubber costume zippers etc

Did you give it a title already ?- in some cases title helps to determinate the final mood we are trying to achieve., like:

" The curse of the frogman" would result in rather silly concept of a monster which in this case would be quite accurate with b-movie challenge theme

" My brother mutant from the deep" from the other hand ,should result in very romantic and serious story , you should forget about visible zippers in that case.
