B-Movie Entry: Filip Spasev
basic layout of the scene.
At first look its going to look like another fight between Godzilla and a robot. The major parts are going to be godzilla, the robot and the city. But actually the city is a painting on the wall, and thats actually two guys in cheap costumes playing cards(probably poker ^ ^)
Im probably going to model everything, though im still not set on the painting of the city, but probably thats going to be modeled too.

Robot model done(maybe), ill probably do a quick rig later to set his posture better.

Godzila modeling
Changing the concept, its going to be godzilla vs mechagodzilla.
Next up are the UVs, and then detailing in zbrush an texturing.

worked on the katana little,I did the uvs, made a texture from scratch for the blade, and materials for the rest.
Ill probably change the overall color depending on the overall composition coloring.
hey the katana looks great.
my only criticism is that the hamon on the blade looks very even.
its a small niggle but im a kendo junkie and love my swords

hehe i guess a sword junkie would pick up on that, i had a photo texture ready, it was pretty high res, but it turned out the quality was pretty bad, so i did it from scratch. Its a metal texture, and the hamon is made with the color dodge tool, it took me some tome to make it right, not to big yet not to small, an also not to have any hard edges.
Thanks for the comment, if i have the time before the end of the competition ill redo the texture.
Finished with the hakama, added a bandana around his neck.
Nearing the end with godzilla,things left to do: the spikes on his back, the feet and to add some folds on the bandana.
Started working on the mech. Im going with a smooth design style, something like the ns5 in I Robot.
I dont realy like the original robust design.
Almost done with the modeling, need to fix the shoulder joint, add armor plates over the exposed muscles, and the tail after i pose him.
