here is my inspiration / reference board. The movie on the left is “Destroy All Planets” (other title “Gamera vs. Viras”)
My first idea was a battle between a kraken and a giant axolotl but I change my mind.
Now I think about Octopus riding rhinoceros bettle to conquer the world. I’m not sure about the place, but I’d think about the golden gate bridge.
So my movie’s title : “Attack of the octopus beetle breeder”

This is how I think the octopus ride the beetle, something like she control the mind of the beast. Then she can go on the ground or in the air easily.
Next post, a 3d scene to find composition with this giant beetle :wink:

Wow that looks creepy. Good modeling. Not sure about the octopus riding the beetle. Maybe too busy if they are going to conqueror the world. Will they be fighting each other or the world?

they will fight the world of course :smiley:
for the term “ride” i’m not sure too, but the beetle is an octopus slave, I have to find other title… not my favorite task :wink:

hmmm…gotta say, it doesn’t really read well. I cant tell what your intention is from this composition. Is the octopus working with the beetle, are they fighting, looks like the octopus is trying to eat the beetle. It makes sense when i read it but not from the image, you know what i mean? Maybe all you need is a scale change, and showing more of the beetle. Makes more sense if the octopus is smaller, so it needs the beetle’s strength.
