I have the perfect idea. You should put a New Moon in the back ground. ; ) just kidding. I like it so far. I can’t really say much, but I can’t wait to see what more you have acomplished. Your general geometry looks good.

…u should consider using bump maps to give it some added texture.
If u haven’t already thought of that. I’m sure u have tho…

Good start. Is this going to be your final cam shot? I look forward to seeing how you will continue working on this. If you could some how make it look like one of the tentacles is trying to grab the camera that would be awesome.

I like this idea…

I think it will add to the realism if you angle the ends of the planks a little…just a little bit, as if they were cut slightly crooked with a saw.

Congrats on finishing. I really like the depth and atmosphere in your image. I think you could work more on the tentacles but maybe that would be for a future date.
