That will be the first render preview of the lobster.
The lightning will be the first test of the later lightning. I think that will looking nice…

For this i have do a little lightningtest of the lobster.

In a other way the concept story grows up and will be more detailed. On Saturday i will give you the first Images.

Basestory:
I restart the island and think about that lost base at this island. That gives a beautiful background. The base wil be broken and some kind of the jungle has got hands over it.

This is the first modelling test of the basesector what i will use. I think with the later viewing of the 30th years it will be looking very good.

I think a little big of brocken roof will be good. The trees and vegetation will grown through…

In this step i have rebuild the concept of the Base.

I have overworked my ideas about the theme.
For this i have modelled some stones.
Ihave modelled 4 different stonetypes. With this i have build up the broken base opening.

I test some kindes of position.
I have made some copies and give them a new position.

This time i have build up the massive wall of broken stones. That gives a good look for the lost and unknown tunnel.

After i have model the stone wall, my camera setups are to near at the wall and the base tunnel was to short to got a better setup.
At short hand i have build ab the tunnel a little bit longer.
That “alley” looks like a little bit better than the first version.

After the end of build up the tunnel i give it the first lightning setup.
I got for this a first feeling of the scene.

I think i got a new change in the story:

" The people of the journey are climbing down a great hole in the roof of the Base tunnel. They hare hanging up and have a look with their lights! And than they are see IT …"

After the light setup of the tunnel i get here the first rendering with shadows.
Looks nice, i think…

The first compositing with base and lobster.
This is the first test lightning without textures.
I think the lobster will get his mayor light from three bengallights at the bottom of the tunnel.

A second mainlight will be the light of the flashlight from the explorer.

*I have work with a fiew new lights. There are now 8 lights.

*I test my new water tex for still water.

*I test the first rendering time - 2:30 min. that is more than possible for me without the textures.

  • From time to time I taste the rendertime to got the right timeplan

*Now i beginn with the finale modelling and artworking on textures and the final image poster

In this 4 Steps i have build up the broken base elements:

  • I explode one of the pillars

  • I have place all elements of the exploded pillar on the ground

  • I give the roof the hole

  • setup all lights and give them a new position

I have overworked all settings and do a last check.
And this will be the first previewrendering of the base tunnel.
I think that looks good… a little bit more test and a little bit texture and it will be perfekt.

For this smal step i have overworked the structures.

  • Everything was to NEW, i have given them a more old basestructure.

  • After this i give a little bit texture to all structures to see the later effekt of all
    ( The shining is almost red, so i give more intrest of the bumpmaps.)

Overworking one more time!

  • There was a light what makes me hurt… :slight_smile:
    with a little bit of blackbox it was going away.

  • The textures wasn´t like my idea, so i have overwored it and give them a new texture.

  • The lightsettings are overworked, do give all a little bit more like cave-style.

First i have thinking, that the tail will not be used for the scene.

But now a little change, give me a view on the tail.

So i will build up it.

I have build up one Lobstertailelement and have multiply this. The first and last Tailelement are modified for the right looking.

That will be easy for modelling but nice for looking.

I hope that will be the end of lobster modelling.
But there will be a better looking tomorrow.

I think now i must textur this beast.
My timeplan must be a little bit set up.
