Axum Project Mattepainting VFX Project

I am happy to announce the pre-production of the Axum Project, a group project being made by matte painters and vfx artist. The Axum Project is project with two goals; 1)creating quality vfx shot under production style pipelines for demo reels, 2) creating a quality vfx project that is open source to vfx artist wanting to learn the techniques of the trade.

For the second goal the Axum Project will ultimately provide FREE training material based on creation of the this project. Available to learners is source HD footage, tutorials on matte painting, 3d projection, and compositing.

Here is some examples work on the current pre-production concept art, an Axum Project website is currently under production so keep an eye out for updates to this thread. RQuack, mordecaidesign, and I are the artist in this set of work, with the vast majority being done by RQuack.

Additionally we will post openings in production positions as they become available so other artist may join these teams.

Ok guys, we have some room for some more concept artist right now, the script is finished and the storyboards are thumbnailed out for the most part but we need artist to conceptualize specific shots. Your style and skill level doesnt matter, pm me here or send me an email at cberry@blurred-pixels.com.
