“Meh” is a dead dino. I’m pretty sure the software is already cracked, it’s just a question of finding it. That’s the ironic thing about companies that discontinue support for products (including stopping sales). They’ll probably still go after cracked copies (provided of course someone tells them about it). I guess whatever you do with your internet connection is your own business.
We have to understand Pixelmonk… he doesn’t care if you got/get shafted because HE got shafted (apparently MANY times) and it doesn’t matter to him at all. And yes, he IS entitled to his opinion. It’s just unfortunate that he CONTINUES to express it even when he knows full well that 99% of everyone else here thinks it’s wrong what AD did AND wants to fight back.
He figures that we should take it up the butt with this one AND accept it since he has had to do the same in the past with other pieces of software. No one should stand up and fight simply because this sort of thing happens all of the time. And he also apparently has tons of cash to go and buy any other app if something like this happens to him - he is obviously well-prepared since it has happened to him so often. Good for him!
We might as well just let him ramble on and not bother to respond since at this point he is only trolling - regardless of him saying he can have his opinion - and wants to pound his point into us no matter how much we disagree. It’s truly a shame. If we all had an attitude such as his, software companies could rake every one of us over the coals each and every day because we wouldn’t fight back. That’s the other “very American attitude”… claiming you’re going to do something that you feel is really important to you, but never follow through with it. “Oh yeah… they did that… I have a good mind to tell them off… or I’m going to sue them”. Well do it. Don’t just talk about it. Do it, and don’t expect someone else on this forum to do it. Call someone in your state… take it to them. If you don’t, you’re doing nothing but lying about how you really feel about this. That goes the same for anyone else who doesn’t like what Autodesk did. But don’t you see Robert, he doesn’t seem to want to understand that. If WE hadn’t pulled together and voiced our anger, Autodesk would have done nothing. If he had his way we would bend over and just take it. He’s defending a defenseless position because he knows he hasn’t proved his point.
HE doesn’t get it. He keeps harping on the “we’ll sue them” issue and not acknowledging anything else. He said using the BBB would be useless but apparently that did something - yet he NEVER acknowledged that. Interesting, huh? Now he’s putting down individual members in a nasty and berating fashion. Anything I’ve said here I would say to his face, yet if he said what he’s written to my face it wouldn’t go over too well.
This thread is about illustrating how angry we are AND “nudging” Autodesk “do the right thing.” So you’ve voiced your opinion. Can’t you just leave it at that?
