Artifacts on SSS shader with FG

On the “Bad Render” link below, you can see that I’m getting some funky artifacts on my SSS shader.

 This is an animation project which is being rendered with Mental Ray using Final Gather. The FG solution is being rendered separately to fgm files which are then being read by the various passes. The weird thing is that it happens at random. It'll happen at random frames throughout the shot and at random locations on the model. Also, if I'll send the bad frames again for render, without changing anything, it'll render fine.
 I'm using a render farm to render the sequences, but there is no particular machine that this thing happens on. It can happen on any one of the PC's including my own workstation.
 
 I'm using Zap's version of the fast skin shader called Fast Skin ++ for the SSS materials.
 
 I'm also attaching my render settings as well as the errors that are being scrolled when a bad frame is being rendered.
