Architectural 3dsmax8 - Combustion Pipeline?

Im trying to render a rather MASSIVE scene using max8, but I run out of memory. We’re looking into using Combustion but I have no clue as to how a workflow should be set up in order to render the compositing layers for architectural scenes, or how to deal with different angles so I know what I can or cant render in seaperate passes.

Are there any Tutorials or DVD’s out there that go through such large scene compositing?

You can use the layer system of the 3DS MAX, for render only determined portions of scenes the 3DS render all the scene for one pass or ten pass. They can create an .CWS file automatically
