As a C4D Arch Viz user I’d like to hear the benefits that Modo has. Just landed on their website and I’m impressed.
How much work is involved in learning it?
Anyone?
TIA

hi there,
As an architect i use LW, LWCAD, FPrime most of the time to model and render my designs, but since i droped in to the modo addiction I can’t get out of it. Ok i’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and I can only say that if you have a minimum of a 3d background, modo will do just fine in a few hours. Yeah! it took me about 3 hrs to get a rspectable GI rendering of an exterior scene. Most of all, fluidity in the workflow, very intuitive, customizable UI and above all RENDER TIME. I’m really impressed by the render engine very fast and robust. Still not very stisfied with the interior lighting but it seems that in V301 it gets very good. Again you can get very good results in no time (i guess MODO is industry wise). Also the LUX community is wonderful just post a question and you get an answer in hours. I recommend that you donwload the demo version and try it!
After re-reading my post I think that I’m completlely sold to modo…My good what am I going to do with my bran new LW…
good luck
