Anyone recommend classes so I can afford software?

Can anyone recommend any affordable online classes I can take that would qualify me to legitimately purchase student discounted software? Times are tough but still trying to stay legit.

I’m not sure if Autodesk really requires you to be enrolled anywhere. I’ve got the student copy of Maya and XSI, and it just ask your name and school. I put the CC I take classes from, and it worked fine. It didn’t ask for a student ID copy or any other info.

I guess if they really check, you can just enroll at your local community college and take a single credit hour class. :shrug:

If you want Autodesk software, there is a home student option in the school list.

But you would still need to be enrolled in some kind of course if you want access to educational renderman etc. CC might be your cheapest option in that case.

This. Pick it in the list and you’ll get your EDU version of whatever software you need.
