Anybody know how many Vue users are out there?

Anybody know how approximately how many Vue users are out there?
Would 100,000 be a good guess?

After precise scientific calculations i can assure you that the number of users is less than the trees it can render!

Even if there was a calculated total of the amount of Vue users who bought their copy, you couldn’t tell how many people actually use it, due to PLE versions, pirated versions, multiple users on one software, companys with varying employees… etc.

But if you wanted a rough estimate, I’d find the amount of copies of Vue 6 Easel, xStream, and Infinite sold since they came out.

e.on has a pretty healthy economy, so it´s not a wild guess that the amount of users is alot higher then 100k.

I have two copies (Vue6 Inf.).
I’m sure there are allot of hobbiets users than full production users. I feel for those that purchased the xStreme editions.

I’m ready to dust them off and use them sparingly in my indie short subject work. The does a fair job provided you work within its limitations. There’s been a few updates since I last used it, so maybe some have been addressed.

A more realistic question would be, how many professional Vue users are there?

well one should keep in mind that vue moved into the pro segment not to long ago, so granted their casual, hobby users still make up the biggest pool of users.

Come v7 and im sure pro users will be alot more satisfied, sadly tho as for v6 i agree with rich that picking up xstream instead of v6i wasnt a smart move and im glad i never did :slight_smile: v6i works much, much better, but of course both apps have come along way since launch.

That’s true.

Xstream has been a big dissapointment. I’ve ended up using it only as standalone infinate and composting as you usually would. I’ve been fighting the software for 6 months now, and have just about had it. When you do get it to work it looks fantastic though.
