any luck with audio sync?

I’ve been trying to do some effects syched to a song and when I render the audio is totally out of sync with the video. Is it that my hardware just isn’t up to par? The video says it’s playing back at 28fps when I’m looking for 29.97. Is there anyway to secure that frame rate so that it’s even possible to work with audio?

1.2ghz Athlon
512mb ram
GeForce4 4400ti

Try using the RAM player to see if it makes a difference.
